ABOUT
Crossways a Victorian house was purchased in 1989 buy the current owner.
Over the years it has been restored to its former elegance and has a private walled garden with parking facilities at the rear. There are seven spacious en-suite rooms, double , twin and king size beds.
Crossways is located in Pickering is a popular North Yorkshire market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, on the border of the North York Moors National Park and approximately 18 miles west of the Scarborough and 26 miles east of York.
Pickering sits at the foot of the moors, overlooking the Vale of Pickering to the south and is perhaps most famous for its tourist attractions, like the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Medieval Castle, Beck Isle Museum and the stunning Saxon Church with its world-famous 15th century wall paintings.
A thriving town with a vibrant, active local community, the town's historic market place is packed with excellent independent retail businesses offering everything from bikes and outdoor gear, local produce and crafts, and antiques and gifts. Alongside the independent retailers, there is an abundance of cafés, tearooms, restaurants, pubs and bars, three theatre spaces in the town and Pickering Market is held every Monday.
